Description
The Manta Ray is designed for a high-angle paddling style and will suit kayakers pursuing athletic touring, workout paddling, or racing. The beefy face and cross-sectional shape of the blade generate great "bite" on the paddle plant, and lots of power on every stroke. Surf waves, hit tight turns or blast through currents! The Manta Ray is smooth and predictable in the roughest conditions.
This paddle features Aqua-Bound's exclusive abX II resin. This material is lighter than the previous generation of abX material, and 22% stronger. The blades are gas-assist nylon injection molded, reinforced with fiberglass fibers. All the better to keep you on the water and out of trouble.

- Shaft Material - Fiberglass: The fiberglass shaft offers a nice flex and feel in the water. In addition to being lighter than aluminum, it is warmer on your hands on a cold day.
