Great to have "just in case" 
I use this tow line with my Lotus Designs P-Vest. It isn't very long, and it isn't very large but that is what makes it great. I feel very assured that as I fasten my lifejacket, I am also taking care of a tow system. It's like a seat belt, one never expects to use it but you should always have it on just in case. This is a well thought out tow system, great for whitewater and calm water towing.
