Kayak Adjustable Foot Brace
The SEA-LECT Designs Kayak Adjustable Foot Brace has 14" of adjustable travel with a flip of the lever. The two mounting holes will fit most existing hole patterns. The foot brace is designed to be maintenance free and self cleaning and has tremendous strength. Take out the rod, connect a cable or a rope to the eyelet on the pedal and the foot brace becomes a foot operated control system for your rudder. The ergonomically designed pedal makes it very comfortable even with bare feet. Thru-hole mounting for easy user installation.
Material: Injection Molded Polypropylene Fiberglass/NylonA
Rod color: Black

Installed pegs on a Pyrahnna Speeder to replace the WW foot board. Very easy installation (I did drill new mounting holes in my boat.) Design does not allow sand, mud or small debris to build up on the rails or foot pegs and cause them to bind up. I use adjustable pegs to allow myself to "lock in" my legs when needed and to loosen up the cockpit when I want to relax. I would have liked them to have a slightly longer adjustment "flag" for older guys like me that would allow an easier reach, maybe 2" longer adjustment rod for easier access to the adjustment rod.

I have used these on two cedar kayaks and they have worked well. Be sure to buy ONE set of the Footbrace Stud Mounts.

The adjustable foot pedal does exactly what it was represented to do and works great, Rutabaga provided excellent service and support.
