Sea to Summit
eVent Compression Dry Sack
Description
A completely new concept in compression dry bags - there is no valve. This innovation uses an air-permeable base made of eVent® waterproof fabric, which allows air to be pushed out of the sack, but wont allow water to get back in. Suitable to keep contents dry in any wet situation where the bag is not submerged.
Features
Any roll-top dry sack must be closed properly to ensure water cant get in. Begin by folding the Hypalon strip down first and be sure to have at least three rolls before closing the buckle. Avoid contact with sharp objects or subjecting the sack to high abrasion, as this could compromise the waterproof fabric. Like all manufacturers of roll-top, fabric dry sacks, Sea to Summit recommends that sensitive electronic devices be double bagged (i.e. putting electronics inside one dry sack then placing this inside a second dry sack). For maximum protection, the use of a waterproof hard case should be considered. Not intended for situations where dry sack will be submerged under water.

Since my wife and I have bad necks, we really appreciate being able to bring our pillows. Both regular sized pillows compressed down beautifully in the large eVent.
I couldn't believe how small I could get them! It was essential for our Rock Island kayak trip due to limited space.

I own 2 different sizes of the eVent. As a guide, I've used them a lot and stuffed them in all kinds of hatches. They've been used for my sleeping bags, clothing, and even dry provisions. Having owned 2 other brands, I can say these are the best and worth every penny. They are flexible, durable and easy to work. I recommended them to a friend paddling in Greenland recently and he came back with the same rave reviews.
