The 9.7 is perfect for smaller paddlers, or paddlers who do not need the added storage capacity of the larger model. Updated models now include our all-new Contour Ergo Engage Thigh Brace System, a modern update to Dagger’s best-in-class Contour Ergo outfitting system, providing a more immersive paddling experience. Use the “Less” aggressive inner thigh hook for a relaxed fit or install the included “More” aggressive inner thigh hook for precise control and superior connectivity. Rotate the angle of your inner thigh hook and adjust the supportive outer hook to create individual fit and ultimate engagement with your Dagger kayak.

Dagger is thrilled to announce the launch of our all-new Contour Ergo Engage Thigh Brace System. Contour Ergo Engage is a modern update to Dagger's best-in-class Contour Ergo outfitting system. Durable injection molded thigh braces create a more secure interface for performance paddling. All thigh brace adjustments are now managed through a single 4mm hex tool, which is included with the purchase of your Dagger kayak. The Engage thigh brace is wrapped in ultra comofrtable padding in all the right places and includes shims for a superior and customized experience. Roto-molded seating with leg lifter

Our roto-molded seat system is not only incredibly safe, but also supremely comfortable. It comes equipped with intuitive controls for easy fore and aft adjustment and a groundbreaking racheting leg lifter that offers 3" of elevation. This feature allows paddlers to adopt an optimal position within the kayak, promoting efficient control and energy tranfer. The adjustable hip pads can also be quickly released and tailored to each user's needs for maximum comfort and control. Meanwhile, the highly adjustable backband offers crucial support and comfort, serving as a pivotal point of contact for control. All of these features are wrapped in plush cockpit padding, and we even provide a seat booster for ultimate customization.

Adjustable slim profile roto-molded foot plate

Dagger adapted the whitewater bulkhead style foot brace concept for the Katana but tuned it down a few degrees. You still get the adjustability and engagement but we made it super easy to remove and with its slim profile you can now store more gear in the nose of the kayak.

TruTrak adjustable skeg system

The adjustable TruTrak skeg system allows you to adjust the Katana's tracking capabilities on the go, allowing you to customize your paddling experience in different environmental conditions.

High-performance

The Katana was designed to inspire confidence in the paddler with a balanced rocker profile for speed on the flat and maneuverability in whitewater. The hull is designed for initial stability, while the bevelled and flared side walls create secondary stability. The rounded stern deck shape, taken from the Mamba design, sheds water easily, making it forgiving in moving water. The Katana also offers a more spacious cockpit than traditional whitewater designs for a less confining feeling.

Durable

Our kayaks are made from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic for a longer-lasting, stiffer, and impact-resistant kayak.
