The wide zip-top opening makes it simple to fill and gives you room to get a hand inside for scrubbing and drying, and a semi-rigid baffle keeps the reservoir from collapsing on itself so it stays open while you fill or clean it. The HyFLO self-sealing bite valve and a larger 5/16" drink tube move water fast, and the high-mounted quick-disconnect lets you pull the tube to refill without dragging the whole reservoir out of your pack. The materials are taste-free and BPA-, BPS-, and phthalate-free, with an embedded silver ion that helps keep mold and bacteria at bay.
